Terrance Hughes serves as both a Regional Sales Manager and the Director of Corporate Plan Services for Wayne Hummer Investments. Terry is responsible for financial advisor teams in the south and west suburban offices, which includes seven Wintrust bank charters. He also serves as the retirement products head, which includes IRA, 401(k), and defined benefit plans.

Prior to joining the firm, Terry was employed at Bank Leumi USA as Head of Private Banking and as Investments Supervisory Principal, managing teams in Chicago, California, and New York. Terry started his career in the financial services industry with Bell Federal Savings in Chicago as a retirement plan administrator. He later became a financial executive with Citicorp Investment Services and was ultimately promoted to Executive Vice President at Citibank FSB.

Terry holds a BA from Loyola University of Chicago. He is a member of the Illinois Academic Advisory Board, where he counsels the state board of colleges on curriculum requirements for students desiring a career in financial services. He is also a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals Actuaries. In addition, Terry maintains his FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 Licenses. Terry resides in Plainfield, Illinois with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he actively participates in the community via the Arial Foundation, where he mentors inner city youth. He also volunteers as a football coach for area junior high school students.
