Grove joined Wayne Hummer Management Company in 1998 to spearhead the business development effort for institutional clients; public and corporate pension plans, foundations, endowments, financial institutions, profit-sharing plans and high net-worth families and individuals.

Prior to joining Wayne Hummer, Grove worked as head of corporate bond trading and Syndicate Manager at Bank of Montreal/Nesbitt Burns and the Chicago Corporation. Before that, he worked in New York as a fixed income trader for Dillon Read and Mabon Nugent.

Grove and his family reside in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, where he is actively involved with the Chicago Historical Society, the National Outdoor Leadership School and Deerfield Academy. Grove received his Bachelors of Arts from Brown University in 1980.
